New club Alibii opens with Sridevi’s 50th birthday party!!! Boney Kapoor recently organized a party for Sridevi's 50th birthday at new club Alibii in Mumbai on Aug. 17. GS Entertainment was appointed to manage the event which was attended by about 400 exclusive invitees from Bollywood.

It was attended by Yuvraj Singh, Hema Malini, Esha Deol, Manish Malhotra, Chunky Pandey, Sushmita Sen, Sohail Khan, Juhi Chawla, Shilpa Shetty, Anu Malik, Rishi Kapoor, Abbas-Mustan, Manoj Bajpai, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vinod Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Lara Dutta, Leander Paes, Rakesh Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Raj Kundra and Fardeen Khan among many others.

It was also attended by MP Amar Singh who, based on his past working experience with GS, brought the agency on board to manage the event with the simple mandate of ‘making it a night to remember for all the guests present.'

There was a red carpet entry, followed by DJ Aqeel spinning through the night and a special AV created for Sridevi was played which showcased her career from 1983 till 2013, marking 30 years in the film industry.

Explaining the setup, Manoj Talreja, Business Development Manager, GS Entertainment said: "The red carpet had a checkered Alibii backdrop logo made out of diamantes. Customized Sridevi and Alibii candles were present on each table in the restaurant. Posters of Chandni, Lamhe, Roop Ki Rani Choro Ka Raja were placed in the club along with three mannequins with costumes from her previous hit movies. Individual pictures of Sridevi were placed in niches all over the club. Floral decorations were present all through the club and restaurant as well as the red carpet entry. There were two LED screens, one in the club and one in the restaurant."

Speaking about the party, host Boney Kapoor said: "After so many people threw parties for her in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, it was my family friend Amar Singh's and my turn to do so. Sri continues surprising us every month for us to keep on with the celebration."

The club has a centrepiece spiral chandelier with over 500 crystal tubes appearing to pour down onto the dance floor in an array of colors. A floating round stage features a DJ booth boxed in a private VIP booth revolving around the crowd. The 4000 sq. ft. venue features a lounge area with 2 community tables, 7 private booths designed around 7 sins, 2 sound gyrating hydraulic cages and 4 tables included in a VIP exclusive lounge.
